Assignment One - Me, Myself & I

This is the first final prototype for this assignment. After debating for hours I decided that the Paul Smith lines were gonna take me days to complete, that is to make it through all the letters. I settled for the curve in the L instead. At least it doesn't seem appear to look too strange. It was a last minute decision to add the stripy bar code at the end but it looks good, especially with the black on it.

I did this first with Illustrator. I chose the font, French Script MT, as it resembled the Paul Smith font the most. The font size was enlarged to 120pts to accommodate the 8.5 x 7 inch space. I had to create layers in Photoshop on the white space surrounding the letter L in order to cover up the parts that went out of the font.

I can't seem to upload my other one properly but I'll put it up when I've figured out why. It says "I love Muay Thai". Muay Thai is a Thai national sport and I have drawn up almost vividly with the help of stickmen. Similar to the previous one, I used Illustrator first to draw out the stickmen and then put it to Photoshop for coloring.
